Packaging
Packaging is
very important because invites the consumer to buy the product. Packaging
serves to preserve, contain, protect and at the same time advertise and sell
the produce. People recognize produce by their labels, colours and shapes.
Packages have to be functional, creative, advertising vehicles. In the US Pop
Art promoted the use of packaging as an expression of society. An important Pop
Artist was Andy Warhol.
Canning
experiments in France helped to conserve food in glass containers. In the 1850s
decoratives labels helped to sell of a product. Label is piece of paper or
cloth which is attached to an object to show what it’s or what it containers.
Plastic is easily moulded and can com in bright colors and light weight.
The later part of 20th-century and the early part of the 21st-century new technology, computer-aided design, new materials, demographic changes and changing consumer needs have had an important impact on design.

Coca Cola
The famous
Coca-Cola script was designed by an amateur, Frank Robinson. The bottle is the most
recognizable icons in the world that symolize the youthful exuberance of
America. The Coca- Cola Story began in 1886 when john Pemberton invented the formula
for Coca-Cola syrup. One the most famous shape is that of the Coca-Cola bottle.
Coca is also sold in cans and plastic but ads for Coke always show the original
glass bottle. The green glass vessel designed by the Roof Glass Company Indiana
and introduced in 1915.
